Now plug in your corrupted kingstone flash drive to your computer then open the program .You will find this program name (Umptool_E) after extracting kingstone format tool compressed folder , just open it .If your king stone flash drive firmware exist in king stone format tool software ,your flash will be shown in the program .Program will collect your flash drive information automatically .Press start all to begin updating your kingstone flash drive firmware .

Note : if your kingstone flash drive capacity is 4GB , you must apply with 4G Flash drive firmware .Don't apply to another firmware because you will destroy your flash drive processor .

    Hi.. a have Kingston DataTraveler G3 8GB flash drive.. And it runs very slow.. sometimes, file 700 MB transfer for 45 mins ... That flash drive worked well until one day, just showing me message "this device can perform faster" pls help..

      تسلم اخى عمرو ولكن يبدو لى ان فلاشتك ليست اصليه وان البورده الموجوده Fake يعنى يبقى مكتوب 16 جيجا والاصل بتاعها 8 او 4 جيجا لان السوفت الاول هو السوفت الاصلى لك ولو لاحظت ستجد ان الشيب موديل 3 انواع والعادى يكون نوع واحد فقط .. انا اسف لاننى لم استطع ان ارجع لك حجم الفلاشه كاملة ولكن جرب ان تفرمت الفلاشه الان عن طريق الدوس .. راجع هذا الدرس

      اخى الكريم اول تقرير لك عن الفلاشه لم يكن ببرنامج chip genius ولكن كان عن طريق برنامج flash extractor لذلك ستجد البيانات مختلفه .. هل سبق وان جربت برامج اخرى قبل ان تجرب السوفت الذى اعطيته لك والذى حولها الى 4 جيجا ؟؟

      Thanks! The program says I need to backup before (which isn't possible ofcourse since I can't open the drive). The problem is that there are some very important files on the drive. Will these tools format the drive as well? or will I be able to access them? thanks in advance, I'm really getting some hope I will be able to get this stick back to work now :)

      Hey Ashraaf,
      Yes I tried to tool, but it didn't recognize the drive...
      when I insert the drive, it shows up as 'Removable Disk (E:)', but just the standard windows icon, not the kingston icon it showed when the drive was working properly. it doesn't show information about capacity or other information neither.
      when i click the icon, windows says
      'Location is not available
      E:\ is not accessible.
      incorrect funtion'
      in drive management the disk is shown as well as E:, but drive management doesn't show any information about the drive such as capacity neither.
      Do you think there's any way to backup before the firmware tool? or try the tool in your last link, and try to recover the data afeterwards?

      Sir , this is a fake flash drive this means that the actual memory isn't 128GB maybe it's written on the cover or computer read it as 128GB but in real it is maybe 4GB or 8GB maximum 32GB if you put 128 GB it will not accept that , Search in google about fake flash and you will see a lot of flashes like ur flash drive
